The Forest Nursery Association of the Czech Republic

The Forest Nursery Association of the Czech Republic has currently 75 members – 67 of them with forest nursery productive areas. Their local plants are from 0,5 ha to 200 ha large. They manage about 876,2 ha (ca. 72 %) of total forest seedling production area in the Czech Republic. Also, our Association has got 8 members without forest nursery productive areas and 3 honorary members. You can find the statutes of our association in basic documents under DOWNLOADABLE.

The aims of the association are protection of justified interests of our members, cooperation with state administration bodies, institutions of the forest research, domestic and foreign organizations and media as well. The association builds for its members conditions for the specialized cooperation, it provides them the special information service and organizes information and training courses for its members. 

Missions and aims of the association are mainly to:

• actively protect and promote the interests of its members, especially in relation to dealing with customers, state authorities and inspection authorities and trade partners,
• participate in solving current problems in the forest nursery sector and collaborate at the formation of legal norms, its amendments and other regulations concerning the silviculture,
• cooperate with forest research institutions and universities,
• contribute to the deepening of knowledge in forestry and to the promotion of forest nursery practise and forest seed production not only in the Czech Republic, but also at the European level;
• organize information and educational actions for members in the field of the forest nursery practise.
